This past weekend I went to visit galleries in Chelsea. Two things were striking - Eyebeam and the Creative Time spaces. Eyebeam had some interesting multimedia work - my favorite being a projected piece on rainforest and gorilla extinction. And Creative Time took on a huge unused slaughterhouse at the end of the highline where about a dozen artists displayed a variety of work in different rooms.
